Tide & Timber Coffee Bar

A Portland, Maine coffee-bar website designed to feel calm, distinctive, and connected to the rhythm of its waterfront neighborhood.

Concept project created to demonstrate brand presentation, information structure, responsive layout, and atmosphere-driven design.

Neighborhood coffee-bar website

The goal

Create a welcoming digital presence that captures the character of Tide & Timber while making the menu, atmosphere, hours, and location easy to explore.

What changed

  • Built a clear information flow around the menu, the shop’s story, and visiting details
  • Created a warm, image-led presentation inspired by Portland’s waterfront, early light, and worn brick
  • Organized espresso, seasonal drinks, and fresh pastries into an easy-to-scan menu
  • Refined navigation and responsive behavior for a smoother mobile experience

Why it matters

A neighborhood coffee shop sells more than coffee. Its website should communicate atmosphere while still helping visitors quickly find practical information. Tide & Timber balances both needs without making the experience feel busy or overdesigned.

Focus: atmosphere, practical navigation, menu clarity, and mobile comfort.
